Job Opportunity: Assistant Saber Coach

Location: Brooklyn Bridge Fencing Club, Brooklyn, NY
Position Type: Full-Time
Start Date: August 2025

Brooklyn Bridge Fencing Club is looking for a passionate Assistant Saber Coach to join our growing saber program. This is an exciting opportunity to add to a motivated and growing program.

Requirements:

  • Practical coaching experience in saber.

  • Ability to teach group classes and private lessons across a range of skill levels.

  • Current US Fencing Coach membership and SafeSport certification or ability to obtain them.

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Fluent in English.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach introductory lessons, group classes, and private lessons.

  • Provide strip coaching at tournaments.

  • Help maintain a safe, positive, and respectful training environment.

  • Inspire and motivate fencers of all ages and levels.

  • Collaborate closely with the senior saber coach.
