Parent Reviews of Fencing Camp
“Our son spent a week at the Brooklyn Bridge Fencing Camp and it was a rewarding experience from start to finish. The space is clean and professional, the equipment is excellent, and the coaching is both skilled and kind. What stood out most was the transformation in our usually shy child—by midweek, he was on the attack on the piste, and excited to tell us about his matches and the new things he'd learned. The staff balances safety, technique, and fun so well that he came home proud of himself every day and even made some new friends. We’re hoping to return during the school year. Wholeheartedly recommend this program. Fencing is truly a beautiful sport.”

— Daniel Murphy
“My son enjoyed summer camp here so much, and loved learning in a safe and fun environment. We enjoyed seeing him get a lot of exercise and have positive energy at pick up!”

Why Brooklyn Bridge Fencing?
High Success Rate
A child starting fencing early and continuing through high school has a 29% - 30% chance of competing in NCAA Division 1 fencing, compared to a 0.05% chance in NCAA Division 1 basketball.
Pathway to Success
Children should start fencing young to develop the necessary technical skills and coordination. Early competitive experience is strongly correlated with later success in tournaments and college recruitment.
Top-Tier College Recruiting
Our program has consistently helped athletes secure spots in prestigious colleges and universities.
Scholarship Opportunities
Fencing offers the best ratio of athletes to available scholarships, with fewer athletes competing for the most financial aid.
Expert Coaching
With over 50 years of combined coaching experience and numerous national and international medals, BBFC coaches are dedicated to fostering success from the youth categories to college recruitment to the Olympic Games.
Proven Success
One of only five clubs nationwide to win Olympic and World Championship medals in Foil.
Ages 6 - 16
Children will participate in age- and skill-appropriate group instruction, games, conditioning and coordination exercises, footwork, blade work, tactics, and bouting.
