Brooklyn Bridge Fencing NYC Schedule

BBFC offers programs for beginners, recreational students, competitive fencers, and college fencers at our DUMBO location at 295 Front Street, 6th Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11201. Club hours are Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, closed Sundays.

First Step: Introductory Lesson

New families usually begin with a 20-minute private introductory lesson. It is designed for beginners, requires no prior experience, and includes equipment.

Foil Beginner Classes

Our beginner foil classes are for children learning the fundamentals of fencing, including footwork, blade work, rules, and etiquette. All equipment is provided.

Ages 6+
Monday through Friday: 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Ages 4-6
Saturday: 9:00 am - 9:45 am

Future Champions Foil

The Future Champions program is for fencers who want to begin competing and developing on a more structured track.

Monday through Friday: 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Competitive Foil Training

Our competitive foil program is for athletes training for local, regional, national, and international competition, as well as college recruiting.

Monday through Friday: 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Open fencing continues until 8:00 pm

Saturday: 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Open fencing continues until 3:00 pm

Beginner Sabre Classes

Our beginner sabre classes introduce students to the sport in a structured, age-appropriate environment and help build a strong foundation for future progress.

Monday through Friday: 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm
Saturday: 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Intermediate & Competitive Sabre

This program is for sabre fencers with prior experience or competitive goals.

Monday through Friday: 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Saturday: 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Open Fencing

Open fencing is available six days a week for fencers with their own electric equipment and a current USA Fencing membership.

Monday through Friday: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Saturday: 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm

$55 per session
$299 per month for unlimited open fencing (brooklynbridgefencing.com)

College Fencing

BBFC offers a college option for current college students during the academic season, including a free college night every Wednesday.

College season: September through June
Free college night: Wednesday, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
